So we burst into colors, colors and carousels

Yesterday I went to see Ellie Goulding perform. This was a monumental experience because I have listened to and loved her for so long that it feels like she took part in my life, too. Which is beyond weird, I know. But you know when you've seen so many photos of someone and listened to them so much that it feels like when you finally do see them in real life, you could just like hop up on stage and give them a hug without getting tazed and escorted out of the show? That's what yesterday felt like. Plus, I'm really excited that she's finally making it in America! I feel like this way about most English artists probably because I hope my story will mirror theirs. Not the whole ridiculously famous part, just the small-town British girl (although I barely ever identify myself as English) making it in America part. 

Anyway, she was incredible live, and I'm even more in love with her than I was before. If you've never heard of her, spend today listening to her!
